I’ve been biffeted and boffeted
And buffeted about
All across the ocean sea
Sailing my way out

I’m headed for the great blue sky
I’m headed for North Star
I’ve found a castle in the clouds
I’m journeying afar!

Oh, I know Mother will worry
But I love her, and she’ll keep
And I know poor Rover’s missing me
(He’s twitching in his sleep)

But I’m sailing for my great blue sky
I’m questing for the moon
I’m bringing back a treasure chest--
And really none too soon!

Oh, I know Daddy must worry
But he’s got work to do
And I’m guessing Brother misses me
But he’s got schoolwork due

So I’m looking for some great blue sky
And dragons, to tame and ride
No bully will dare cross me
With such a strong beast by my side

Oh, I know at home they’ll miss me
But I’ll return, good and well
And when they’ve kissed me properly
I’ll have such tales to tell!

Thus, I’m biffeting and boffeting
